The Color Wheel in Photography

In this lab, we played with the color wheel. With the three primary color : red, blue and green, we could create different setting for our pictures. .

for the first two pictures i used the color Red and blue. with mixing these two together we can see that it gave a sort of a magenta color with a nice blue effect behind the object.

As in the third, fourth and fifth picture  by putting together cyan and red, it gave away a neutral color in the middle.

Here in this picture, i put green and red but with a blue background. but we can see that the red color is getting deleted by the blue background.

Histogram

this is a high-key image before i made the color level adjustments as you can see on the histogram.

this is the same image but with the color adjustments. it is a lot whiter as you can see on the histogram.

this is a low-key image as you can see on the histogram, it is not that dark.

same image but i adjusted the darkness of the image. its much darker as the previous one, see for yourself on the histogram.

this is a mid-key image. as you can see on the histogram the colors are dispersed.

this is the same image but as you can see on the histogram, all the colors are mostly in the middle. that why the call it a mid-key image.
